ASD: History of Sharing
he NJOD Learning Community Annual Sharing Day Committee is preparing for our 14thAnnual Sharing Day for Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Ramada Plaza at Newark Airport.
The purpose of the conference is to engage our professional community to share practical knowledge as well as top trends in our profession while cultivating local talent and thought leadership through the NJOD Learning Community.
Once again the ASD Conference Committee has secured the participation of a renowned speaker. This year Dr. Chip Bell, author and OD thought leader will address the event on the topic LEADERS AS MENTORS.
The NJOD has been privileged to have outstanding thought-leaders serve as our Keynote speakers.

During the winter of 2009, The Education Committee of the NJ Organization Development Learning Community conducted a survey of members inquiring into their interest in attending academic-based education in the field of Organization Development. The response indicated a need for both an introductory level program to enter the field as well as advanced level programs to support on-going development and sharing.
To follow-up on the topic, additional research was conducted under a grant provided by Rutgers University Professional Development Studies of the School of Information and Communication Studies by Lucille Maddalena and Marian Titus-Smith during 2010.
