2013 Monthly Meetings

The NJOD Learning Community is working on a full schedule of Monthly Meetings for 2013.  We are seeking recommendations and submissions from speakers for these popular free events.

MONTHLY MEETING PARTICIPATION

Do you or someone you know have a topic that will be of interest to OD professionals in NJ?  Now is the time to express your interest and availability.

RECOMMEND A SPEAKER: New NJOD presenters are always welcome!

Can you encourage someone to speak at a NJOD Monthly Meeting?

All proposals must meet the following criteria for consideration as  an NJOD Learning Community Monthly meeting.

Send proposal with the following information to NJOD President Tara Seager (seagert@asgna.com) for the NJOD Monthly Program Committee review:

1. Present the content of the presentation as an OD-related topic or experience to share. All proposals will be evaluated for content and variety of subject matter  currently implemented as part of an OD project.
2. Proposals must be have a corporate voice. Partnerships from a corporate and independent professional to offer a joint presentation are welcome.
3. Submissions must include bios and contact information for the potential speakers, a suggested title and outline for the 2-hour presentation  including a proposed location available for the event, with  seating for 100 guests.

The NJOD Learning Community is continuing to offer the opportunity for professionals to learn current techniques and approaches to Organization Development.  Our Monthly Meetings have received national acclaim for the quality of presenters and because each and every event is available free to our members, thanks to the support of our Learning Community.

ATTENDANCE:  As a Learning Community, we appreciate the work and contribution of our corporate members to host Monthly Meetings at no cost to our members.  To best honor their support we ask that when registering to attend an event, please consider the commitment you are making.  In our busy lives, we know that schedules can change very quickly.   At the same time, the event host must have as clear an indication of attendance as possible as seating is often limited.  Kindly respect the event host ensuring that once committing to an event, you make every effort to attend.
