NJOD Members Shared Community Spirit!

We celebrated NJOD’s first Community of Sharing Event!

We selected a date near Thanksgiving to host a gathering of OD professionals who joined together to celebrate our work, camaraderie and gratefulness

It was Food & Fun  including a Business/OD Book Exchange and collection for the NJ Food Bank

Approximate 50 people joined in the November 21 Celebration at Stoney Brook Grill, Branchburg, NJ

As part of this Appreciation Dinner, NJOD members gave back by donating food for the New Jersey Food Bank.

We also hosted our first Business/OD Book Exchange. Guests brought books and exchanged books donated by colleagues, to expand our knowledge and recycle books that we have already read!

Due to the success of our first event, look for next year’s Community of Sharing Celebration November, 2014..
